Synopsis For Baffin Bay To Rio Grande Out 60 Nm-
Synopsis
Southeast winds will become moderate today as the pressure gradient increases due to pressure falls upstream. Exercise caution conditions will be possible this afternoon. A cold front will sweep through the coastal waters beginning around noon Tuesday...with north winds of 25 to 30 knots and higher gusts. Small Craft Advisory conditions expected. Seas will build up to 9 feet in the Gulf Tuesday evening. The front will be accompanied by a line of showers and thunderstorms and gusty winds. North winds will decrease to moderate on Wednesday...but another surge of high pressure on Thursday could cause marine winds to increase to around 20 knots through Thursday night. North winds will decrease and veer to southeast next Friday as high pressure overhead shifts east and low pressure develops upstream.
