Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters
A weak to moderate onshore flow will persist today through Tuesday morning. A cold front will move into the coastal waters Tuesday afternoon with a strong offshore flow developing in its wake. Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will occur along and ahead of the front. Much drier conditions are expected behind the front by Wednesday. The offshore flow and seas will gradually weaken through Thursday as high pressure slowly settles across south Texas. The high will shift east on Friday...with onshore flow resuming.

East winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northeast around 20 knots late in the morning...then rising to around 30 knots early in the afternoon diminishing to northeast around 30 knots late in the afternoon. Seas 4 to 6 feet. Showers and thunderstorms likely.

Northeast winds around 30 knots becoming north 20 to 25 knots in the late evening and overnight. Seas 6 to 8 feet. Slight chance of thunderstorms in the evening. Slight chance of showers through the night.

Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 5 to 7 feet.
Thursday
Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to 15 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet.
