Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters
Moderate to occasionally strong southeast winds will continue through the morning. In addition...showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible through the day as an upper level disturbance moves east across the region. Light winds and decreasing seas are forecast tonight and early Tuesday. Onshore flow will increase to moderate levels Tuesday afternoon through early Wednesday as another upper level disturbance moves across the Southern Plains. A cold front will move across the coastal waters early Thursday and result in moderate to strong offshore flow which will continue through Friday. Isolated to scattered showers are expected Wednesday in advance of the front. A third upper level disturbance will enter Texas Friday. This system will contribute to scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms Friday night.
