Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters
A weak to moderate onshore flow will persist today through Tuesday morning. A cold front will move into the coastal waters Tuesday afternoon with a strong offshore flow developing in its wake. Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will occur along and ahead of the front. Much drier conditions are expected behind the front by Wednesday. The offshore flow and seas will gradually weaken through Thursday as high pressure slowly settles across south Texas. The high will shift east on Friday...with onshore flow resuming.

Northeast wind 15 to 20 knots becoming north 20 to 25 knots in the afternoon. Seas 4 to 6 feet. Showers and thunderstorms likely.
Tuesday Night
North wind 20 to 25 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening.
Wednesday
North wind 20 to 25 knots decreasing to 10 to 15 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet.
Thursday
Northeast wind 15 to 20 knots becoming north 5 to 10 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.
Friday
Northeast wind 10 to 15 knots becoming east 5 to 10 knots in the afternoon...then shifting southeast in the evening increasing to 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Seas 2 to 3 feet.
