Synopsis For Destin Fl To Pascagoula Ms Out 60 Nm Including
Mobile Bay-
Synopsis
As high pressure builds over the southeastern states winds have gradually decreased over the marine area as expected. The high pressure will shift east across the southeastern states tonight and Monday...with light to moderate flow becoming more northeasterly tonight and then east early Monday before becoming southeasterly by late Monday as the high moves east off the mid Atlantic coast. The onshore flow is expected to increase Monday night and Tuesday as a low pressure system develops over Louisiana. The low pressure system will track eastward across the Gulf Coast late Tuesday...bringing scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms to the coastal waters. Winds in the wake of the low will switch to offshore and begin to diminish by Tuesday night. A light southeast onshore flow will redevelop for late Wednesday through Thursday.
