The Flood Warning continues for the White River at Elliston. * Until Saturday evening. * At 8:00 am Monday the stage was 17.7 feet. * Flood stage is 18.0 feet. * Minor flooding is forecast. * Forecast...rise above flood stage by this afternoon and continue to rise to near 21.8 feet by Wednesday evening. The river will fall below flood stage by late Saturday morning. * At 21.0 feet...eastern portion of Greene CR 100 S floods leading to Plummer. Flooding covers all low bottomlands

The Flood Warning continues for the White River at Petersburg. * Until Tuesday April 28. * At 9:30 PM Monday the stage was 16.5 feet. * Flood stage is 16.0 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Forecast...the river will continue rising to near 18.9 feet by Saturday evening. The river will fall below flood stage Monday evening. * At 19.0 feet...low bottomlands flood and flooding begins on higher bottomlands. State Road 257 may begin to flood if Shoals gage reading is over 17 feet. Private levees may be overtopped in many cases.

The Flood Warning continues for the White River at Edwardsport. * Until Monday April 27. * At 7:00 PM Monday the stage was 16.0 feet. * Flood stage is 15.0 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Forecast...the river will continue rising to near 18.3 feet by Thursday early afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage Sunday early afternoon. * At 18.0 feet...old Vincennes Road and State Road 358 in Daviess County and schaefer Road in Knox County are impassable. High water affects agricultural bottomlands. During agricultural season this level is of concern to farmers on the unprotected areas along the river. High water affects river Cabins.

The Flood Warning continues for the White River at Newberry. * From this evening to late Friday night. * At 9:30 PM Monday the stage was 13.4 feet. * Flood stage is 13.0 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Forecast...the river will continue rising to near 14.8 feet by Wednesday evening. The river will fall below flood stage Friday afternoon. * At 15.0 feet...most lowlands flood. A few inches of water on County Road 600w just north of the river in Mary Long Cutoff area.
