Accumulations are expected to be an inch or less through the next few hours. Blowing and drifting snow is expected with wind gusts up to 30 miles per hour. Visibilities could drop to less than 1 half mile due to blowing snow. Motorists should proceed with caution and allow extra time to reach their destination.

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 1 PM EST
Wednesday...
A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 1 PM EST
Wednesday.
* Accumulations... total storm snowfall accumulations of 5 to 6 inches
are expected.
* Timing... snow will continue overnight before ending from west to
east Wednesday.
* Impacts... roads will remain slick. Strong winds will create
blowing and drifting snow tonight and Wednesday... with near
whiteout conditions possible at times in rural areas.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Conditions are forecast
that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an emergency. If
you must travel... keep an extra flashlight... food... and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
