Central and Eastern Allegany

Areas of patchy dense fog continue over portions of central
Virginia... eastern West Virginia... and western Maryland. The
combination of yesterday's rain and clearing skies overnight
allowed for fog to form. In some spots this has caused the
visibility to drop to one half mile or less. Motorists driving on
I-81 between Luray and Staunton... and near Cumberland Maryland
should be prepared for rapid reductions in visibility. Conditions
are expected to improve by 9 am.
