...Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 10 am CST this morning... ...Winter Storm Watch is cancelled...

The National Weather Service in Duluth has cancelled the Winter Storm Watch.

* Location...the Minnesota arrowhead...including Two Harbors... Silver Bay...Lutsen...Grand Marais...and Grand Portage.

* Timing...through mid morning.

* Snow accumulations...additional snowfall accumulations of 1 to 2 inches.

* Impacts...untreated roads will be slick as the snow is falling on top of a glaze of ice accumulation from last evening.

* The Winter Storm Watch for tonight through Tuesday night has been cancelled as snowfall accumulations are expected to be lower...generally from 1 to 3 inches.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for mixed precipitation means a mixture of freezing drizzle and snow is expected. Some accumulation of snow and ice are expected on untreated roads and sidewalks. Anyone with travel plans should be prepared for slippery roads and reduced visibility. Slow down when driving and allow for extra stopping distance because you may lose control of your vehicle if you try to slow down or stop quickly.
