through Tuesday evening for strong winds and low humidity for
fire weather zones 110 and 111...

... Fire Weather Watch now in effect from late Wednesday morning
through Wednesday evening for strong winds and low humidity for
fire weather zones 110 and 111...

The National Weather Service in El Paso TX/Santa Teresa has
issued a Fire Weather Watch... which is in effect from late Wednesday
morning through Wednesday evening.

* Affected area: southwestern New Mexico including nm fire
weather zones 110 and 111.

* Timing: Tuesday from 1 PM to 8 PM MDT. Wednesday from 11 am to
10 PM MDT.

* Wind: Tuesday look for west-southwest 20 to 25 mph at the
20-foot level with gusts 40 to 45 mph. On Wednesday look 20 foot
west-southwest winds 30 to 35 mph with gusts 45 to 50 mph.

* Humidity: on Tuesday minimum rh 4 to 7 percent in The Lowlands
and 6 to 10 percent in the Gila region is expected. On Wednesday
look for min rh 3 to 6 percent in The Lowlands and 5 to 8
percent in the Gila region.

* Impacts... any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.
