Wednesday
Snow. Snow may be heavy at times in the morning. Total snow accumulation of 12 to 18 inches. Blustery with highs in the lower 30s. Northwest winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. Chance of snow near 100 percent.
Cloudy. A chance of snow showers in the evening. Windy with lows in the lower 20s. Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. Chance of snow 50 percent.
Thursday
Mostly cloudy in the morning...then becoming partly sunny. Highs in the lower 30s. Northwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

Snow will continue to increase in coverage and intensity through pre dawn hours from the Laurel Highlands north and east through the central mountains. By daybreak... these areas should see an additional 3 to 6 inches of accumulation. During the morning... 3 to 5 more inches of accumulation is likely before snowfall decreases by early afternoon.
Further south over the south central mountains and lower Susquehanna River valley... snow will continue heavy at times overnight. An additional 3 to 6 inches is expected by daybreak. Snow will continue heavy at times into Wednesday afternoon over the lower Susquehanna River valley before tapering to flurries late in the day.
Total snowfall accumulations are expected to average between 8 and 12 inches over most of the warned area. Snowfall amounts in excess 12 inches are expected over parts of the middle and lower Susquehanna valley.
