The Flood Warning continues for the Congaree River at Carolina Eastman. * Until Saturday evening... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 9 PM Tuesday the stage was 120.3 feet. * Flood stage is 115.0 feet. * Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * Forecast... the river will continue to fall... going below flood stage by Friday night. * At 119.0 feet... extensive flooding occurs in the Congaree National Park. Some area farmland is flooded. Minor flooding occurs at the Carolina Eastman facility.

The Flood Warning continues for the Congaree River at Sandy Run. * Until late Wednesday night... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 8 am Tuesday the stage was 24.0 feet. * Flood stage is 23.0 feet. * Moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Forecast... the river will continue to fall... going below flood stage by tomorrow morning. * At 24.0 feet... several homes in the Sandy Run subdivision along the river become flooded.

The Flood Advisory continues for the Congaree River at Columbia. * Until Wednesday evening. * At 11 PM Tuesday the stage was 12.4 feet. * Flood stage is 19.0 feet. * Forecast... the river will fall to around 9.1 feet by Thursday morning. * Advisory stage is 10.0 feet. * At 14.0 feet... roads in low lying areas and swampland downstream from Columbia become flooded.
