The National Weather Service in Duluth has expanded the

* Flash Flood Watch to include a portion of northwest
Wisconsin... including the following areas... Bayfield...
Burnett... Douglas... Sawyer and Washburn.

* Through Tuesday morning

* heavy rains falling on already saturated ground could lead to
local flash flooding along rivers... streams... and other poorly
drained areas.

* Low lying areas... ditches and roads... will also be vulnerable
to flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

This Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that
lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous
situation.

Monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should
flash flood warnings be issued.
