... Fog expected again tonight... still the potential for some snow
during the peak Thanksgiving travel time...

The fog across the area will gradually thicken during the night.
The fog could become thick enough to reduce visibilities to below
1/4 mile at times late tonight. This will create hazardous travel
conditions.

Anyone traveling overnight should be prepared for the fog... and
plan accordingly. If you encounter a fog bank while driving on the
Highway... always use your low-beam headlights and slow down to a
speed at which you can safely stop if you encounter an animal or
object in the roadway.

A storm system is expected to move across the area mid-week. The
air across the area will initially be warm enough to cause the
precipitation form the storm to fall as rain through Wednesday and
perhaps Wednesday evening. However... colder air seeping into the
area will cause the rain to become mixed with snow and maybe even
change to all snow late Wednesday night and Thanksgiving morning.
The changeover is likely to occur over central and north-central
Wisconsin first... and over the northeast part of the state last.

The potential exists for a couple inches of snow Wednesday night
and Thanksgiving morning. But it is still too early to pinpoint
which part of the state... if any... is likely to experience
significant travel impacts from the snow. Anyone planning to
travel during the start of the Thanksgiving Holiday period should
closely monitor later forecasts on this developing system.
