Vice President of Business Development
As Weather Underground's first employee, Chuck Prewitt has been a fundamental figure in the continued success of the brand. In 1997, Chuck put his ad sales know-how to work and was tasked with taking the company commercial and creating revenue streams for Weather Underground through advertising sales and data syndication.
Today Chuck focuses on prospecting syndication opportunities in his role as VP of Business Development for Weather Underground. Chuck has previously played a part in the launch of CBS.com as the Director of Sales where he was involved in integrating the web, network TV, and syndicated sales. He's also held positions with Patrick Media, the San Jose Sharks, and has worked at various TV affiliates in Los Angeles, Chicago, and San Francisco. Chuck has been instrumental in developing relationships with Weather Underground's key advertising clients such as The Associated Press, Google, American Express, and CBS--- to name just a few.
A native Californian, Chuck attended California State University in Fresno and graduated with a B.A. in Mass Communications. When Chuck's not trying to "Expand the Brand", he can be found on the green honing his golf skills.
