The rain dance worked! Its all I wanted
for my birthday was a bit o'grog (well...I overdid
that one) and a bit o'rain
For two nights in a row it rained and thats
all I could ever want...cold front movin in
so I will say here and now, we're done with
the big bang cane season - it's all yours East coastas'

WP - ah, I'm a year older but wiser on pushin
the hidin ala Plutonian ways of yours
I loved the Forecver Friends Surprise Party
that was my fav...thanks lets hope our year
will be a good one. Saturn making things very
permanent for the next 29 years....sheesh.

you and yours. Your hangover hug did quite the
trick, better than plop plop fiz fizz oh what
a relief it is - did I give away my age LOL

summer ...one I dont want to repeat again.

Gamma - yeah I loved the old Houston Oilers
but this fabricated team leaves me cold -

changing - certainly not by the temps
but I got a cold. This is how we know

is about to get here (GOT THE FLAG OUT
TO WELCOME IT) and we can put away the
SPAM for this season. ZZZZZZ

Other than that y'all today in Houston
the Mayor, Mayors Office for People w'/Disabilities
and Commission for People w/Disabilities
passed a resolution that states the following

"If you park in a handicap accessible parking
space,and you are NOT disabled you will be fined $500 ...if you don't pay
we will come after your car and boot it."
This law will go into effect the first week
of OCTOBER.

So listen up HOUSTON - BEING LAZY AND IGNORANT
will COST YOU......maybe that will wake your
lazy a**ses up. So proud of Houston.

WEll we're so many days into Fall
and you could fool me.

Yesterday we had some huffing and puffing
around the city and all that came out of it
was the song ANTICIPATION in my head.

We're off to another dry season - albeit
not with 110 degrees- just in the 90's.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Other than that, I'm looking forward to
Autumn and all the festivals Texas can bring
from OOMPAH to PUMPKIN picking - YES!

Hey Gamma! Loved your butterfly pictures with Noly and OMG IHOP - I have this fantasy of just going to IHOP and GORGE on pancakes and syrup until I pass out.

Yesterday we all watched, waited, celebrated
the severe thunderstorm warnings...I took pictures
of the approaching rain clouds....THEN (drum roll)
NADA at the bay.
I was having dinner with friends of mine yesterday in the city and I did see lightning (YAY) and some wind blow...and a couple of drops were squeezed from the clouds - but ...that area was teased also
Today promises the same huff puff hold your breath

Must admit that sabbatical has really
been "turning a new leaf" on life for me
I have got to explore so many different
facets of my life that has been sadly
ignored and one thing has been seeing my
son and family more.
How delightful to stand IN RAIN 40 degrees
and a north wind kickin my booty
I couldn't get enough of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My son is about to open another world premiere
show so I love the fact HE'S on stage and I can
sit in the audience and just BEAM
I've been busy advocating on a "larger stage'
for my peeps (what a blessing!)
Putz in the kitchen - I have developed
evidently a most wonderful cake ball recipe
and my neighbors have gone crazy over them.
It just so happened that last night was
:Wont you be my neighbor" or some such national
nonsense and for once in 13 years I got to meet
some neighbors other than the annoying Boston
BEEEEYOTCH that lives next door.

So...I brought my red velvet/dipped in
chocolate balls (yeah I hear the jokes okay)
to this shindig and lo and behold there is
a neighbor who works for this huge catering
company in Houston. She flipped over my
delicacy and wants me present it to her boss
tomorrow. She said that they originally
ordered cake balls from this woman in League City
and they are DREADFUL...so they were looking
for another supplier OMG - y'all know I LOVE TO BAKE
So put up a cake ball prayer for me wah wah
They already have parties lined up and everyone
seems to really love cupcakes and cake balls.
Well...we shall see! I have to come up with some
cute name for my cake balls like
"I got your balls right here, pal" LOLOL

WP - GO TIGERS - who knew? I'm happy for Detroit
they need a win the way New Orleans needed the
Saints win - I hope they kick the Yankees butts
Yes Susan's month for us is horrible - but
hey wait until 2012 - Uranus/Saturn will finally
have their bitch slap fight out I guess?
