Overturned Leaves

Oh my god. Does it EVER stop raining here? Everything is wet. If it is not wet, it is damp and either moldy mossy or slimey. I swear to god, one morning I will wake up and I will have a strip of moss or mold sprouting someplace on my body.
Coming from Saskatchewan, where the wind will dry you, this excessive moistness is ... unbelievable.
We are under heavy rain fall alert, and floods for the next week at a minimum. The creek running thru our property thunders by, large rocks and torn trees go tumbling and plundering by. Their audible complaints and thumps waking me up through the night.
The Slocan River has risen to alarming heights and threatens all who live upon its banks. Its flow and speed sends chills up my spine. So powerful. We humans have so little strength in comparison to nature.
I hope my garden does not drown, or wash away!
