It was beautiful Weekend weatherwise, but very busy, not much time to relax, where do those weekends go,get to 5 pm Friday afternoon ,and somebody hits that Fast Forward button and suddenly its Monday morning!!!!!Oh well has started out overcast in the 60's.No real warm weather at this point, although I'll take 70's anytime. It really is amazing how there has been not hot weather, only a couple of days with humidity all of May and now 11 days into June and not real hot or humid days in sight. Looks like Mother Nature tired herself out in March and April. So far in June we're running about 3 degrees below normal. As a concidence, last June was the last time we had a month below normal.
Our Celtics are done in the playoffs, they gave a good fight, but had nothing in the 4th quarter, age, injury caught up with them.Redsox got swept this weekend by the Nationals, and now they are off to Miami.

Good Afternoon NEw ~
You just echoed my hubby's same expressed sentiment about today's disappearance of those forecasted sunny, warm skies to our area. I guess local meteorologists didn't get the memo. LOL! Would've been nice to have a repeat of yesterday's gorgeous weather. I just hope we don't end up with snow or overnight frost or freeze warnings for the first day of summer! LOL!
Yeah, it's sad that the Celts petered out in the last game against the Heat, but it was truly a noble effort on their part. They should still be proud to have made it that far, but are understandably sad at the prospect of breaking up the big trio due to age and free-agency.
At this point, when the Red Sox are taken three-straight, in their home games, by the Nationals, no less, you know they're toast for the season. Ouch!! LOL!
Well, despite current temps having climbed to 72F our way, we remain overcast and seemingly cooler in degrees. Hope the sun can forge, at least, a brief appearance through the clouds before day's end. Seems we have two more rainy unsettled days ahead before the sun returns by end of the week. Fingers crossed for another decent weekend!
Cady's daughter Catherine Turk tells the Los Angeles Times that her father died Friday at his home in Wilsonville, Ore. A cause of death wasn't released.
Cady played Sam Drucker, one of the less loony denizens of Hooterville in "Green Acres." The show, about a Manhattan couple who left the big city to live in a rundown farm, ran from 1965 to 1971. Cady also played the same character in "Petticoat Junction" and "The Beverly Hillbillies."
