Sandi; Wow! I love this progression of photos! Thanks so much!!!
My view is going to get monotonous pretty soon. That big, lush vine in the foreground is just a hint of things to come. Soon, the leaves will be full-sized and the view of the pond will be largely blocked by the trees. I still enjoy the view but once the green wall is in, there won't be much change until late summer.
Hope you're enjoying a lovely weekend and thanks again for the photos!

My goodness, I go away for a few days & when I get back you have a green wall outside your window! We spent last week down in Myrtle Beach at the State Park. I wish someone had mentioned it was bike week during that time. the hwys were full of Harleys. Needless to say we spent most of our time in the park, which was great for us. That is a wonderful camping spot and so close for us. Hope your have a nice Holiday~~

Nice job catching that bird on April 15th. I thought of doing the same thing with the progression of the sunset in our backyard. Not sure what day to begin...maybe i should start on the first day of summer...the longest day of the year.

VVXGirl; So sorry I missed your post when I was here before- I'm just seeing it now for the first time! That's the second time I've caught a crow as I've taken my daily photo and totally unplanned!
I think it's interesting to watch the season's progress in a daily photo; please let me know if you do start a daily picture blog so I can follow along. :-)
Thanks for taking the time to comment!

Sandi; The blue flowers are irises; it's so nice to have so many flowers blooming, now. The rhododendrons are finally coming into bloom, too, and I've seen several Lady's Slippers growing wild in the woods. I love this time of year!
Ladys slippers were among my favorites of the wild flowers. We had an abundance of them on the farm when i was growing up, Also a lot of jack-in-the-pulpit and most favored was the wild violets. The only one of those we have here is the wild violet. 1 or of 3 isn't bad I guess since it is the favorite ;)

Janetlee; Lady's Slippers are among my favorites, as well! We have many wild flowers but these are so rare now-a-days that I cherish the sight of them.
Foxxy; I'm glad that it made you smile! :-)

Yes, a month of rain has really helped things to green-up!

I see what you mean about not being able to see the water in the summer!
