The Ark

Fuzzy Fun!
Posted by: RobDaHood, 8:42 PM GMT on February 03, 2012 +2
Welcome to The Ark

Well, it's been a while since we did animal stuff here, so after RTLSNK and I were posting some doggy pics this morning I got to thinking that we'd do a blog for the fuzzy friends.

So, cute, strange, amazing, or just plain funny animals or maybe just a photo of your favorite pets. Doesn't really have to be fuzzy. If you're into goldfish or turtles, that will work too.

Just keep it clean and fun.

Enjoy!

Good Morning.

55 degrees here at half past midnight. Still pretty breezy. Dog in a tizzy about some critter that was on the deck.

All systems nominal. I think I shall go back to bed.

Sound asleep until 0730 hours this morning!
47*F here this morning, supposed to drop to 37 tonight!

Good to be home, they had that awful Starbucks coffee at the Hilton.
I swear there is something in that stuff that upsets my stomach.
Good to have our French Roast here again.
They also didn't have half and half, but that white chemical crap made up out of chalk.
What is wrong with serving the real stuff?

No fritters this morning, but I did manage to get some Cinnamon rolls on the way home. :)

One has to be prepared you know.

You'd think for the kind of money they were charging you that you could at least get some decent creamer, huh?

Warm those muscles up good before you start moving compost today!

Exactly, $3.65 for a small one cup paper cup of coffee with fake creamer.

Yeah, will take it easy too, the pallets are still covered with plastic wrap, shouldn't be too wet. Only bought the top soil and the mushroom compost this time, not the cow manure compost. Thats the stuff that really smells bad when it gets wet! :)

Had the truck put the pallets on the front driveway up near the front porch. Will just drive the lawn tractor with the dump wagon next to the pallets, pull a bag off into the wagon and cut it open in the wagon and mix a bag of soil with a bag of compost right there in the wagon so I don't even have to lift the 40lb bags at all.

Drive the wagon around to the gardens and use the big manure shovel to put it into the gardens. Takes a little longer that way but puts less weight on the knees by not lifting the bags and throwing them in the gardens and cutting them open there. Nothing wrong with my arm, shoulder, and chest muscles, just want to be carefull of the new left knee device. :)

OK, time to stop talking about it and go get to it.
Back later!

Heh!
Life goes on......
Just back from the City, where stuff and whatnot were the 'Order of The Day".
Have to get back on the road in an hour with Ancient Person, to collect Lady Pott and bring her home.

Last couple of weeks has been a Logistical Challenge,,,,,,,

In the meantime, some Salmon is marinating for the grill, and I will include some brown rice stir fried with 'erbs, a salad, and a bottle of Argentine white wine.. a Trapiche, Sauvignon Blanc.
The occasional Celebration is in order, don't you know?

How many of you shall I set the table for???

Pottery, that does sound quite inviting. Alas I have company this evening. Got to figure out what we're eating. I'm thinking maybe a stir fry. RTL told me about the Thai place he went to and I've been craving spicy Asian stuff since.

Yeah I read Snakes post about the Peppery Thais....
This is not the same as Peppery Thighs, although the thought does raise some interesting interpretations that may not, in fact, make good DinnerTime conversation unless of course you have the Singular Misfortune to meet Orca and Swampy at the Restaurant.
I dare say that the Notion of Peppery Thighs, debated loudly over Root Beer in a Swanky Place, might not be the Best Thing...

But I suppose it all has to do with the Quality of the Waitresses.
heheheheheh

RTL may not be the coffee if you are adding the chalk. I've taken to drinking the coffee black if the only additive available is that $#1t. Starbucks makes one cry out for an invasion of Timi's. (Underway)

Been to two Timi's. Both in unexpected locations. Both very good.

This is just a test. This is just a test.

I tried to download this in Orca's and it would not download.

Will try it here. Then dinner is ready.

I knew that.

But it is an awful looking thing and should only be given to someone who really deserves it!!!

Thanks for the clue about quote-ting and stuff, I didn't know that!

Going to spend some quality time with SugarBear tonight.

See you in the morning!

Morning Rob!

33*F here this morning with a freeze warning until 0900 hrs.

Pollen count today is 9.8 out of 12.
Thur is supossed to be 11.3 out of 12.
I may hibernate on Thur with a Benadryl IV drip. :)
And thats with an air purifier going in the bedroom and a humidifier!

Trees that are blooming here are Alder, Ceder, Juniper, and Elm trees.
Eyes are so puffed up I look like a Raccoon in the morning!:)

No, I am not sending a photo.
It would scare the kids!

BTW, how did you manage to feed your Sister and the kids that you forgot were coming for dinner last night?

LOL!

I know what you mean. I've been eating Mucinex and benadryl for 2 days. Don't know what it is but something is messing with me.

They are all old enough to feed themselves!
LOL

Actually, they went to my parents house and cooked for mom. They are staying at my parents 'cause I don't have room for 4 extra bodies unless they use sleeping bags. Will be heading over there myself shortly to see if anyone is cooking breakfast!

They are heading back to Lakeland early afternoon.

BTW.
Go over to Finn's blog and watch her video.
Just don't do it if anyone in your house is sleeping. You'll wake them up for sure!

It's comment #47

That was a cute video! Funny part is that our kids never realize that we were dancing and having fun long before they were even born!:)

OK, time to go to work on the planters again.

Back later.
