Their 2012 location was more distant than their 2011 quarters...but it was justifiable to travel farther to visit old friends -----> 1

If you look real hard, there's Murphy, the miniature donkey, to the left of lower center. And Phoebe is beneath the red wagon -----> 2

Another previously-met pooch, Cinch (shown below in the foreground) just couldn't understand why I kept aiming at the barn -----> 3

Remember Annie? She was as hyper as ever - so much so that she was never still enough to photograph during my visit. And Reese - although audible from within - apparently still cannot be trusted to stick around.

A previously un-met character made quite a first impression - Frasier, the goat, who is comforted by lilac bushes in a couple of ways. First - from the shade that they provide -----> 4

.....and secondly - because they taste good -----> 5

Actually, Frasier has quite a voracious appetite for any shoulder-high delicacy -----> 6

Obviously Frasier's "groundskeeping" extends to slightly above lawn-mower level, but the lower spots that Frasier misses are likely to be trimmed by Allie -----> 7

...or Mick (etc.) -----> 8

Frasier's attraction to small shrubbery also results from his enjoyment of practicing "head butting" -----> 9

But as hardy as this arbor vitae might have been, it was no match for the tireless Frasier -----> 10

Chrome seems to share in Frasier's affinity for flowery fauna -----> 11

Temporarily, everything appears peaceful out in the pasture -----> 12

.....where Mick is grazing -----> 13

.....Dolly is munching -----> 14

.....and the surrey's fringe is flapping in the breeze -----> 15

But Mick wonders, "Where is Tim?" -----> 16

. ...and watches Dolly wet her whistle -----> 17

Then Tim sees Dolly dash across Tunkhannock Creek. -----> 18

Aha! Dolly is venturing to where Tim is -----> 19

And no wonder! Look at all of that grub over there! -----> 20

Meanwhile, Tyler is trimming Roscoe's sideburns (etc.),.. -----> 21

.....thinking that the fullness of Tunkhannock Creek will contain Dolly & Tim. But Roscoe gets saddled when the whereabouts of Dolly & Tim becomes known -----> 22

The whip remains very distant from Dolly & Tim...but the "cracking" of it first directs Dolly -----> 23

.....and then Tim, back into the pasture -----> 24

Roscoe has performed admirably -----> 25

He deserves a cold one -----> 26

.....and even poses for a sunny-day photograph with his boss -----> 27

Back inside, however, is Queso. The sunlight is too bright for him to be other than barn-bound 'til a cloudier day -----> 28

The 8-year-old "dominant white" equine's pink skin adversely effects his life expectancy -----> 29

...but, he's not alone in the hotel -----> 30

A re-visit next month is a probability, if only because photos of Murphy, Annie, Reese and Mona were omitted. Mona's excuse was that she was not circulating yet after giving birth three nights earlier to her third litter in less than two years -----> 31

Rather than refer to Mona as "trampish", I will opt for the description "part rabbit". I would also like to renew acquaintances with Mona's first-litter offspring, Hollywood, and Tuna (if she's not away visiting a boyfriend).

Thanks for the "thumbs up", friends! The blog format has the possibility of making mediocre photos more acceptable if those photos are surrounded by adequate verbiage. According to my teachers 50+/- years ago, I excelled at being "mediocre" and "adequate" :>)
