Cryovolcano, better known as an ice volcano along the Lake Erie shoreline. High winds create these cone shaped formations and water blows up through a hole in the center of the cone.

This guy must have escaped from a farm and is now feral. He is regularly seen in the Dunkirk Harbor hanging out with the Canada Geese.

This guy has been coming right up to the house and lets me take his picture now. He must have figured out that I don't eat meat and will do him no harm. :-)
Ice cavern on the beach (Lake Erie). Temps are supposed to get up into the 40's for the rest of the week, so I'm sure this will be its last day.
It was another one of those Great Lakes sunsets to die for!
I love Mourning Doves and think they often go unnoticed and are very underrated for their subtle beauty.

The turkey's feathers are interesting. They seem blunt on the ends, while most birds' feathers are tapered or rounded.
