Did I ever have problems getting my computer running prperly this morning. Last night I tried to install a freeware program to convert a pdf file to an epub file for the Queen's new ebook reader. It installed a new toolbar and changed my home page as well as messing with the webcam. I ran my antivirus program which found nothing except tracking cookies. This morning I disabled the toolbar, reset my home page and reinstalled the driver for the webcam. All seems good now. I'll run a deep scan with the antivirus again and check.
The Queens Ebook reader is quite the device besides reading ebooks it will play movie files, mp3's and show photos. it will read the pdff files but the display isn't as good as an epub file. I'll keep checking the web for a good malware free program for her.
The Queen just passed by, time for our morning coffee.

Good Morning, Tony!
I can share with you the many frustrations connected with the computer. I've had miserable glitches with my computer ever since my computer server swapped out my modem, last September, for a so-called speedier version. What a mistake! It has caused me nothing but freeze-ups and glitches ever since. Sometime, in the near future, I hope to fix it all through an expert computer tech., as it is beyond my capabilities. I have a feeling an expensive reformat will be in order. UGH!
Hope those prospective Canadian t'storms forecasted later don't produce any further damaging results; especially, since some people are still trying to recoup from those 60 mph gale force winds felt a few days ago.
Last night, we miraculously lucked out by evading a large swath of t'storms sweeping through most of our State. Supposedly, around 10:00 pm, the western and central portions of Mass. experienced incredible lightning in 15 sec. intervals and quarter-sized hail. We, in the eastern portion, heard rumbles in a distance but, thankfully, it pretty much dissipated before reaching us. I'm so thankful, as it looked brutal on the TV radar screen!
Today is the start of a gorgeously sunny, dry day with temps reaching 70F. This weekend will be more cause for celebration as our forecast is for sunshine and hot temps reaching near 85F! Time to go outside, enjoy and put our gas grill back to work! LOL!
Hope you and the Queen have a safe and pleasant day in store for you and enjoy an extra cup of coffee on me. LOL! These days, I need a large pot of caffeinated anything in order to get going each morning. It seems increasingly harder for me to get enough overnight sleep in order to remain alert the following day. Aging sure can discombobulate the ole bio-rhythms. LOL!
Bright and sunny here today, temps going up into the mid to high 60 then tomorrow the heat starts up. By Sunday we will be in the 80s. I am sure on Sunday a lot of BBQs will be firing up.
Have a great day dear one. Give my best to the Queen.
