Sat. June 30th:
By the Way, this morning was looking thru photos and found one of a specific location I took at Lake Okeechobee last December 2006 and one I took a month ago. Just 6 months difference. I found it interesting in the comparison. I posted both of them at the bottom of this header

I don't know exactly when skyepony is going to be 6 mos smokefree but I know it is anyday now. And just because she doesnot make a big deal out of it like I have, doesn't mean she doesn't need our support and Congrats!!!
Let's hear it for our friend Skyepony!!!!!!

Almost a month now!
Since yesterday morning my yard has received 1 3/4" of rain. Suppose to get a little more this morning. We are lucky, some areas of Broward and Palm Beach counties haven't gotten much at all. Appears once again Dade County is getting the most and they need it the least. Oh well; that's life.
For most of you it is almost weekend so have a good day!

Tuesday, June 26th. WOW those are some funny stories you all left on the blog last night and if you have more keep them coming!!!!! Day 26 nicotine/smoke free. Yesterday was OK, even was drinking last night but didn't have a "rough" time of it. I remember what Crab said, Just tell yourself NO, I will get past this! Plus we were having so much fun on the blogs!!!!
Thanks again for all of your posts, comments, and encouragement!

After setting up this new thread tonight, the story line has become a story about our "X Mates" whether married or not. It started out that today would have been the 36th anniversary of my first marriage, but of course, it would not have really happened because one of us would have been dead by now had we stayed married. So tell us your story and I hope you can keep some humor in it!

I've made it 25 days nicotine/smoke free with a Little help from my friends. Thank you so much. Right now it is sprinkling rain outside; only a few sprinkles in the past 7 days... hope that tropical wave really makes it here.
Thank you all for being my friend!!!!

Today is Day 21 Smoke and Nicotine Free...YIPEE!!!!!

Monday afternoon, June 18, 2007

Good afternoon my friends! Thanks to all of you that posted in my prev blog today and last night. I love reading your posts, comments, and support!

going to try and post this radar of SE Fla in here; wish me luck! Ok the one I wanted didn't work, will try another.

And our Blue Blue County. This afternoon in less than one hour got almost 2 inches of rain. Got flooding in my backyard and pool is almost overflowing.
Why oh Why cannot this be over Lake O or to north of Lake O. Saw report this morning and Lake O is still same as June 1st record.

Happy Father's Day, Dad!!!
Posted by: seflagamma, 1:34 AM GMT on June 17, 2007 +0
Sunday June 17 is Father's Day and we need to recognize that Dad's are a very important part of our society and our children's growth. Dad's Rock!!!! So if you are grown and live away from your Dad like I do.. Call your dad first thing in the morning (Hi Daddy, it's me!)
And my son and son in law, I sent them Cards in honor of Father's day since they are both Fathers now.. Happy Father's Day... and Hubby has had some wonderful Father's day with our 3 kids as they grew up....and he deserved all of them.
And this year Hubby got the best gift ever, I got him the NBA.COM (whatever) it is on cable tv with "the box" that he can watch his beloved Yankees everyday or any other baseball game that is playing anywhere. He LOVES his new toy and appreciates being able to watch his Yankees anytime they are playing.

So to all of our Fathers/Dad's out there, Have a Wonderful Day tomorrow!!!!!

16 days Smoke/Nicotine Free
Posted by: seflagamma, 12:14 PM GMT on June 09, 2007 +2
Thursday, June 14, 2007.
At 8pm tonight I will have completed 2 weeks nicotine free. No cheating, no smoking, no nicotine gum or patches, nothing but my Chantix to help me out. I should be able to get off of that in a few weeks. I don't think I am going to take it the full 12 weeks. Supposedly if you have stayed smoke free for 4 weeks you don't need it any longer. Some people take it for longer than 12 weeks.
Today will be a very busy day at work so doubt if you see much of me today. So everyone have a great one!

Monday, June 11, 2007 (day 11 no nicotine or smokes)

Today was just fine and dandy, but tonight has been sort of a rough go... for some reason tonight is my worse night so far...very jittery and anxious and not comfortable at all... I WILL make it thru tonight but it seems to be a challenge so far for me tonight... different from the past 11 nights... Deep breaths...am I being a sissy???

Sat. June 9, 2007
Still nicotine free. Last cig/nicotine was 8pm, Thur evening, May 31st. Doing pretty good; each day is a little easier. Sometimes when something is aggrivating or getting on my last nerve, I have the desire to just go outside and smoke for relief. That is what I am missing now; the escape from these situations. Excusing myself to go out and smoke was a way to put some space between me and the situation. That is what I am trying to conquer now. When possible these days I go outside and take a brisk walk.

On weather side, a little over 1/2" in my backyard in past 24 hours. But those 1/2" here and there are adding up.

Look at this, now Broward is blue... SE Fla is drowning and now has too much water and it is going out into the Ocean.
