Down by the Fish Pond

I got the fish bowl suspended in the lower pond an hour or so ago but when I went out to see if the fish were up in it only one of the bowls in the upper pond had a couple of fish up so I took this picture of the little "Spirit House" perched in the huge "Umbrella" plant. The steep stairway is for those tiny spirits who don't fly. A fellow Tloml met in Cambodia imported a bunch of these so we gave them for Christmas presents and got one for our garden.

Afternoon OrangeRoses: I just measured while uploading the fish. The biggest leaf is over 3' at it's widest and the highest leaf stands over 5'. Glad you like that little Spirit House. It has been there for a few years so we kind of forgot about it. I'll think of something to leave there for an offering. Ylee: These Spirit Houses actually came from Thailand. Here is our friend's website: http://www.spirithouse.ca/ Tloml bought two very nice woven bamboo easy chairs and they came with the first container too. We put nothing on the teak and it has weathered well. Looking at the photo I should adjust the beak things on the roof, though. The fish finally deigned to go up in the new tower but would sink away if I walked too close with the iPod.
