The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has issued a dense fog advisory... which is in effect until 10 am CST this morning.
Wet grounds... light winds... and dry air aloft has enabled widespread fog to develop across south central Texas this morning. Visibilities will lower to one quarter of a mile or less across the region... especially in the near-sunrise hours. The fog is expected to gradually lift and dissipate through mid-morning.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down... use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
