These are the Four Peaks, which I've shot a lot of in the past, but never from this far away :) Out chasing weather on this day, and the rays shining through the rainy clouds was just amazing.

Thank you guys :) I couldn't believe how long the rays lasted...like 45 minutes. Took me 20 minutes to get to this spot and somehow they were still there long enough for me to get this shot :)

Also there is a spec in the middle, that's a bird, not a dust spot :)

Hah, I saw the speck and at first through it was on my computer monitor screen. That elusion is from the seemingly 3D effect of the picture. Thanks for letting us all know that it’s a bird in your photo and not something that does not belong. Just plain awesome shot ChandlerMike. Post from a native of Arizona / Valley of the Sun resident.

Very nice shot. I know it's a bit of blasphemy but I kind of agree with the "Ansel" comment. At least; I think Ansel would have appreciated this photo. Very well done.

Oh my gosh! This is just perfect B&W work.

These are the kind of gradients I keep trying
to get but have only succeeded once.

Nicely done.

Congratulations on your AC.
