At one of my favorite overlooks, I paused to take in the approaching storm, then made a run for home before the rain and wind hit!

Thank you, Helen! We haven't gotten very much yet, but it looks like more is coming. Things have greened up nicely anyway, but they won't stay that way for long with the kind of heat we've had lately, if we don't get more moisture. Yes, Dave, actually it didn't come on as fast as it looks. Was traveling on a track that paralleled my location (traveling left to right in the photo instead of straight at me); we were on the edge of it, but it did rain quite a bit during the night and next day, all quite welcome as it has been a bit dry lately.
