This area just lifted the extreme fire danger after the 2011 extensive blowdown where more than a quarter-million acres of trees were blown down in northwestern Wisconsin and central Minnesota during a severe wind storm last July 1.
It looks like the soil is in need of water , so a good soaking will be the right thing!
