I am a retired Fire Chief Living in North Fort Myers, Florida. Following my retirement I began to pursue my other loves in life, Weather and Photography. Luckily they go together very well. I have put together a web site and an intercept team. We were hoping to chase any South or Central Florida Land-Falling Hurricanes this year, but, nothing so far. We are preparing to transmit live video and data from within a land-falling hurricane. We have redundant internet capabilities and an array of cameras and digital recording equipment. We also plan to deploy several weather stations and fixed video units in the path of the storm. I have begun posting my pictures and we are now operating 3 web cams with more on the way. WU’s new Web Cam service is awesome!!! We are also setting up PWS units that will be up year around in the Fort Myers / Cape Coral area.
