I took early retirement (age 55) from a corporate sales / marketing career in 1995. My wife (now of 50 years!), Barbara, and I then built our dream home in Estes Park, CO only to realize we could not live at 8,000 as a base elevation (though we hiked to 14,000). So in the spring of 2003 we sold it and built a house at Quail Creek in Sahuarita, AZ - just south of Tucson; near the Santa Rita Mountains. Due to a hiking fall in 2008, and subsequent re-constructive shoulder surgery, the "no more golf" mandate brought me back to my photography. God works in mysterious ways! |
