In this April 24, 2012, photo four storm shelters built with FEMA funds after the tornadoes of 2011 sit adjacent to the Phil Campbell High School in Phil Campbell, Ala. The tornado death toll was staggering last year with 358 killed in an April outbreak through the South. When deadly twisters chewed through the Midwest and South in 2011, thousands of people in the killers' paths had nowhere to hide. Not sure why this photo is on VIP. Photos are supposed to have been within the past 7 days and of current weather. Otherwise, this is interesting .

That was a terrible and tragic loss of lives. Since I live in/near tornado alley I would like one of these in my back yard.
