Thunderstorm rolled across our area this afternoon . Lightening caused a huge grass fire and the smoke got in front of this thunderhead - kinda cool looking , or as my dad says ; " That's mighty differnt ! "

Wow, Tim! I love your title and what a shot! Just beautiful with the different (differnt'!!!) :) cloud textures and those lovely shades of color. Love the house and tree, as the foundation for this great capture! 10!

About docshovel39
docshovel39 Hello , my name is Tim . I live in the small farming community of Ropesville , Texas with my wife and photo partner Sherry . I got involved with photography because of my older brother Steve - a fantastic photographer who lives outside of Seattle , WA . My favorite work , apart from his , is a terrific book entitled " Ghosts in the Wilderness " by Tony and Eva Worobiec . It captures the remains of small , abandoned rural communities across the Midwest , much of it shot in black and white . I also have become a fan of photographer Jim McGuire . His black and white shots ( nashvilleportraits.com) are amazing . Thank you for your comments and have a GREAT day !
