Sigh... am used to seeing this in So California, where the hills are gobbled by a patchwork of crowded cubicles. Great shot, btw.

Ditto here in Oregon.

Many of our farms have been sold and now
feature the same sight as your photo.

Good capture of current events.

Don't know if I could find my house in this neighborhood. They all look the same. I've thought of that every time I see places like this in some cities.
Sure glad I'm a country boy, where there's no look-alikes.

Thanks for your comments Claire, Julia and Gil. It is certainly a shame to see developments like this. At least, we are not alone.

And, Gil, you are so right. When cycling in neighbourhoods like this we frequently make comments about ending up in the wrong house. :-)

Excellent composition!!!...'(Palm Harbor, Fla., May 9,2011 (UPI)...Police in Florida said a drunken man discovered sleeping on a sofa insisted he was in his own home when confronted by the actual residents.')

Unfortunately, we are getting far too many areas like this now.

It seems the developers just won't be happy until they've covered every single inch of space on the planet with their cookie-cutter houses and developments. It's a shame to see that it's happening all around the world. And they call this *progress*? That said....a nice photo and picture chronicle of this neighborhood, John.

Thank you Helen. I guess it was the chronicle aspect that tempted me to take this one.
