This was our second thunderstorm of the day, about four hours later from the first shots I posted. This storm brought strong winds, small hail, thunder, lightning and a lot of much needed rain. The last rain was early May, from what the locals told me. Much fun! After the storm, it cleared up and turned into a perfect beach day!

4/2013: Greetings from Michigan, where we get a wide variety of weather changes throughout the four seasons! I originally found this site for the weather, and the photos kept drawing my interest! Decided to get my first digital camera in 2010, and have since upgraded to a Nikon L120/P520, which has helped photography become my favorite hobby! I have always loved the outdoors, and now I have a perfect excuse to get out and explore nature! What a great community here, so many excellent photographers and friends, so little time! I would like to thank everyone who contributes, for all of the great inspiration and feedback!
