Just peeking between the trees on the southern horizon, and in the wee hours of the night, but I was very happy to have the opportunity to not only SEE the super moon, but to photograph it too. I LOVE the golden color of the low angle, this color is 100% natural. A very special super moon over Tok Alaska. Thought this shot was just a bit better than the other.

Thanks for stopping by John. There was a bit of wispy haze in the air, as you can see (sort of) on the bottom half of the moon.

But it was soooo worth getting up for.
