I have only one peony plant and last spring it was accidentally cut down before I had a chance to put a peony ring around it. It's blooming beautifully now and it's nice to see again after 2 years!

I feel like the peonies and the lilacs are annual rituals, just like Christmas -- cutting them, bringing them in, enjoying their scent.

Ooooh, Mary, these are so, so beautiful and I
would love to get my nose over them and smell
that awesome scent. I think peonies are a close
rival to roses..beauty and scent, both. I love
the way you arranged them, too! Gorgeous!
