What a beautiful spot you found, Rob! A pretty shallow sandbar covered with that gorgeous green water all around. The other two pix have the comments disabled but I was going to say I'm glad to see the sea oats sprouting new growth. They've been dormant and not so pretty all winter but soon they'll be waving golden in the Gulf breezes. Nice series!

WOW...Thanks, everyone for the great comments. You can visit this state park any time you want if you ever get to St Pete, FL. The water temps are perfect right now. Not too hot and not too cold. Just before I took this shot, there was a huge manatee swimming around. It was a fantastic site to see.

This is a truly pretty photo (the blue blue, white white and green green colors are stunning), but your part of the country is safe from my visits :-) mosquitos and other insects view me as a target, and I have heatstrokes. I'll enjoy from afar and thank you so much for sharing these special photos. Also, the sea oats photo is a 10!

robb04047 I have a full time job during the day which deals with workforce optimization. I have been fortunate to travel the country as well as Europe and Asia. My Frequent Flyer Miles replaced an old Minolta SLR that was stolen 20 years ago. I used my miles and purchased the Canon T1i. It was love at first click. Taking pictures helps me forget about all the bad things in the world. Photography forces you to focus solely on the intimate beauty of nature.
