I'm all landlubber; even thinking about being that near a Great Lake makes me squeamish, but I have the greatest admiration and respect for the brave souls who go to sea to bring us food and fiber on their ships great and small. The Edmund Fitzgerald aka "Big Fitz" proves the power of the Great Lakes and the price that can be exacted in order that we, the consumers, might receive the goods we need. God bless the brave sailors on these mighty waters! Thank you for this photo and series that clearly show the power of wind, waves and weather, even with such a large ship!
