The questions we ask are more important than the answers we may never fully understand. This is a Question Mark Butterfly -- I finally got one! I couldn't have asked for a better backdrop than this bright watermelon and a green leaf.

Beautiful capture, Kevin. Looks like he's enjoying sipping on the sweet watermelon. Very pretty with the green and red background.

Awesome shot! Thank you! My first Butterfly garden & "nursery" started last year when my granddaughter's idea to save a caterpillar on a milkweed plant at a nursery. 37 Chrysalis and Monarch butterflies later and documenting their journey in photos from egg to flight, I'm amazed there's any question there's a God!

Thank you for your comments! I didn't think any of the photos would come out; it was late and the butterfly wouldn't step into the sunlight.

Very nice Dingybird! I missed your photos last year. I agree; God shines out through His creation. :)

AND I have to say,,your choice of words is unquestionably nothing short of genius..!! tee hee! AWESOME KEVIN!!!:))) I love how the hues of the melon lighten up it's body,,and of course the complimentary colors you were so clever to bring out! Got some of us pondering this statement piece! THANK YOU!:)-Mindi

Thanks Heidrun, Gale, and Mindi! I can't take full credit -- a lot of it is dumb luck unfortunately. :D

About tamcat
tamcat My name is Kevin N. Weinhold, and somehow I ended up posting photos on an account with my wife's nickname (sorry for any confusion!). I used to think that photos were too two-dimensional, not really capturing the real person or scene, but now I understand why: without God we are all two-dimensional, but there is a much richer world behind those photos. I hope you find something in my photos beyond my view of God's creation; I'm looking forward to seeing your photos, too!
